What is Company / Seniors?

Company is for young people in P7 to S2 inclusive, whilst Seniors is for those in S3 to S6 inclusive.

 

Members take part in a variety of activities from arts and crafts to sports and other physical pursuits. With a wide range of activities, this is a lively and dynamic section which takes an active part in the life of the company.

 

Members will also get to go on trips and days out, as well as possibly going on a weekend camp or holiday that is often the highlight of the year.


What do we do?

Those in Company Section take part in a programme, that enables them to ...

  • Take part in a fun, balanced and challenging programme 
  • Be recognised for their effort and achievement, 
  • Build trusting relationships

 

It's all about learning new skills, making their own decisions and having fun. BB provides a safe environment to explore new possibilities and achieve personal goals while making friends and having adventures. There are 6 programme zones:

  • Get Active
  • Get into the Bible
  • Get Learning
  • Get Adventurous
  • Get Creative
  • Get Involved

 

Every young person is encouraged to use their voice and work out which opportunities are relevant for them, whether it's improving football skills, podcasting or recycling.

 

When a young person is in the Seniors they can start out or continue their journey through The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and also gain the President's Badge before going on to the highest award in The Boys' Brigade, the King's Badge.


How long do we meet for?
Our weekly section meeting runs on a Tuesday (in session) from 6.30pm until 8.30pm.
